Student during a cultural enrichment day, in 2026

Inclusion Leaders Cultural Enrichment ( Published: 13/04/2026)

As part of a Cross Cultural event, students visited Acacias Primary School in Burnage to engage in a celebration of different cultures.

Inclusion Leaders were invited to on Friday 27th March 2026, to share a presentation on Ramadan and Eid. The event was a huge success! The younger children looked lovely in their own cultural clothes and their energy was infectious as they engaged in the presentation, with particular enthusiasm for the quiz afterwards. The girls leading the presentation put in a lot of extra time during breaks and lunches, and it showed as their presentation was both confidant and dynamic. Boys from Burnage also performed an Islamic song called a Nasheed, which was lovely to listen to. All in all, all parties left in great spirits, having learnt a lot from each other.

The girls were a real credit to themselves, the staff and the school. It truly was so good. We appreciate all the work that went into such a complete presentation and I have received so many positive comments from the children and staff.
